The committee over the past 5 years has worked to raise money to memorialize the Town's veterans. Veterans enlisting in the military while residing in Canterbury or living the first eighteen years of life in town are the criteria for inclusion. The time of service needs to be during the times of conflict listed on the committee application.
The memorial includes three granite stones in a park design off to the right of the Municipal Parking lot. Names of veterans from the French and Indian War to the present Global War on Terror are included.
Meetings
Meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 AM in the Municipal Building.
